| The paster roller is used to press the outgoing web of paper to the new reel at full press speed to achieve a “flying paste“. |

| Low paper web stress |
Because of the extremely light covering and the high acceleration of the paster roller, the tensile stress on the web is low during the pasting cycle. The high deform-ability of the covering (made of cellular material) gives full and even gluing of the webs.
The low web stress and full gluing also ensure low-risk paper reel replacement, even at high production speeds. Reduction of the machine speed is no longer necessary. |
